This recently started. I want to say after an update, but I may be wrong. Whenever I click on any type of link, FF will open a blank page and not the correct page. However, I just ran FF in "safe mode" and it worked properly. But now, I am not in "safe mode" and the problem persists.

Do you know what can be done to fix this?

Since it was ok in the Firefox SafeMode, you need to do a little troubleshooting to discover which addon is causing that problem.
