Download this file: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o.../fennec-9.0.multi.android-arm.apk. And copy it to your tablet. You should then be able to install it.

The downside to this method is you do have to manually update Firefox. But, fear not! Because Firefox has a 6-week release schedule, you know when you have to update. So, every 6 weeks, check back at https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.o.../android and click on multi and then the .apk file and repeat the above steps.
