After setting up my Firefox Sync details when first installing Firefox Mobile, within minutes of attempting to browse during the sync the program caused my phone to crash, requiring me to remove and replace the battery to get it working again.

When trying to open Firefox Mobile again, I get the same kind of response; either Firefox crashes or my entire phone crashes. The only way I can stop this happening is by turning off Firefox Sync- but then this is the only feature that I need to work in my browser! I have tried un-installing and re-installing, tried the new beta version and also re-tried to install and get this to work when I installed a custom version of Android on my phone.

As I am deeply frustrated by the current level of service of this browser, I am going back to Dolphin Browser HD with the FF Sync extension until Firefox is in a usable state. It is a shame as I deeply support open source software and in particular the Mozilla ethos; however the Desktop Firefox/Minefield daily build is more reliable than Firefox Mobile!!

Sorry about this! The crashes might be caused by Firefox using too much RAM; the Xperia X10 does not have the recommended amount of memory for running current versions of Firefox. We're still working on reducing Firefox's memory use, so it's possible this problem will be fixed in the future.
