Where did the icon for bookmarks with a drop down on the toolbar go?
There used to be an icon that opened bookmarks in a drop down list on my toolbar next to the home icon. It disappeared. When I tried to re-add it, the only bookmark icon is one that opens the entire list of bookmarks as a sidebar. Strangely, when I hit 'customize' to pull up the list of available icons, the bookmark icon with the drop down pops back into my toolbar, only to disappear again as soon as I close the 'customize toolbar' icon box.
I don't want my list of bookmarks on the side of my screen I want to be able to click on them in the drop down from the icon. How do I get that back?! thanks!

Posted pictures to clarify- the first picture is what I see when I'm looking at the browser normally- just the bookmark icon. The second picture shows that the one with the drop down appears when I open the customize icon box.
Probably in the bottom of the Customize Palette?
What do you mean, in the bottom? I've scrolled to the bottom of the box shown in the picture above, the icon for the bookmark drop down isn't there. Or do you mean a differen't customize box, if so where please?
thanks
That button has been replaced by another Bookmarks * (star) button.
There are 2 Bookmarks * buttons in Customize Toolbar window
- Drag & Drop both of them on the Navigation Toolbar
- 1st button will open the Bookmarks Sidebar
- 2nd button will open the Bookmarks drop-down menu
Drag the (unneeded) Bookmarks Sidebar * button and Drop it in the Customize Toolbar window
Check and tell if its working.

Do you have the Bookmarks menu visible?
You only see the Bookmarks Menu button if the Bookmarks menu is hidden.
