Fire fox is closed and then I want to reopen and a window comes up telling me that it is still running so I have to go to task manager and delete it and then I can go on firefox again
After I go off a website and firefox is closed and then I want to bring up firefox again I cant because a window comes up saying firefox is still running and I cant bring it up again. I then bring up task Manager and look for firefox and delete it and then I can go back on firefox as always. This did not happen on the 6.0 it is happening on the 6.01.

See hang-at-exit
I do not think that is the answer I have a print out on what to do I bring up task manager and select the entry firefox.exe and then I click end process and then I can go back on firefox again. This has not happened in the 6.0 version I have the 6.01 version and this is happening.
Are you using any of the Internet security software listed in that hang-at-exit section?
Is there any possibility that some type of Java presentation is running when you close Firefox, or immediately before you close Firefox?
I have had Java cause Firefox to hang at exit many times, for many years now.
If you open the Task Manager and watch the firefox.exe line for a few minutes is Memory Usage fairly consistent, or is it increasing?
Does that process close all by itself if you would leave the Task Manager open for say 2 or 3 minutes?
I could be off firefox maybe about 10 minutes and then I go on and it says like I said before the window comes up telling me it is running when it is not. with the 6.0 version it did not happen now I have the 6.01 and it just started doing it.
