I've noticed that my Firefox using really extended amounts of RAM (600 MB or so). I have tried everything what is suggested on Knowledge base, disabled plugins & addons, started in safe mode, etc etc, but problem still ocurs, even if I have opened only two tabs. But when I have closed gmail tab, Firefox's RAM usage jumped down to 100 MB. When I have opened it again, RAM usage will become something around 600 MB again, so it seems to that gmail is causing my problems.

Why gmail consuming so much RAM in my computer? Is there any way to get rid of it?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
