When typing in a text field on a website, why does the cursor jump behind the already typed text?

This issue only happens when inputting text in a form on website (not in the address bar). The cursor randomly jumps a letter to the left, thus making input rather impossible.

Im using a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 running GalaxyMod14.1 (4.1.1 JellyBean) and the stock keyboard. Using Firefox for Android 18.0

hello r3ckl355, apparently there will be an updated beta version of firefox available on the play store soon which addresses some keyboard issues, so you might want to look out for that...
