I am using FF 24.0 version. I have my webpage with different tabs and links and tool tips. I click on the tool tip and it opens a small popupwindow. Then i use a different url in the same browser and the page opens. The problem i am facing is when i click the back button now in the browser i could still see the tooltip window still open and it is not closed.

I see there is a browser cache happening and it is loading the same data when i use back button. Can anyone help me how i could remove this and set the page to default.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
