I am aware of Profile Manager and other means to relocate an existing profile. What I am seeking is something different. Is there a way to modify Firefox so that all *newly created* profiles get created in an alternate location. I don't want to use the AppData\... folder structure.

Thank you so much.

Wubrane rozrisanje

Sorry, there's no built-in "feature" or "option" to do that, but thru command line switches it can be done.

See section C. 3 for how I do it.

Brilliant. It actually does CREATE a profile if one does not exist. Plus I see it allows environment variables. This solution will work well in my environment.

thanx!
