I have multiple email account and email signature, everytime i restart my thunderbird all the settings are gone

I have set up multiple email accounts and also signatures for each accounts every time i shutdown my computers and starts thunderbird the next day, only my default email account is registered all my other accounts is gone and also my signature is also gone, so I will have to resubmit all the emails accounts and also the signature to the "Account Settings". Is there anyway to make thunderbird remember my settings ?

One funny thins is at the "Account Settings" every time i hit the "OK" button at the bottom right nothing seems to happen the dialog box didn't close it just stay there, I have to click on the "red X" button on top left to close the dialog box - is this normal ? is this the problem why my thunderbird won't remember my other email accounts ?

Maybe there's something wrong with your preferences file. That is where account information is stored. If this is the case, also other changes you make in Tools -> Options won't be remembered.

Please open Help -> Troubleshooting Information and click the Show Folder button. In your profile look for a file named prefs.js and verify that the file is not read only and you have permissions to edit the file.
