Firefox in Windows 10 YouTube video's won't play
So, today Firefox was crashing and slow...more so than usual. I reset Firefox to factory defaults by following the instructions on this site and also cleared the history, cache, cookies, etc.
When I restarted Firefox it seemed normal. When I opened YouTube I received the "Connection is not secure" warning. After that I was able to access YouTube but noticed the videos gave me an error. I've tried repeatedly to run videos in FF but the video either gives me an error or it's just black.
I can run videos in Microsoft Edge without issue.
The connection errors are new and something that started after I reset FF to default. Also, I'm noticing that some pages don't load properly (no graphics) but this issue seems to be intermittent now. Some load right and others don't.
I've added a screen shot of the connection not secure and YouTube results. Screen shot on the right is FF. Left is Edge.

Ok, here's finally what fixed my issue.
I made some changes in my virus scanner, I use ESET, and disabled the SSL/TLS setting under Web and Email.
I'm using ESET Smart Security 9.
Didn't think it was my security software simply because other browsers worked normally.

Thank you!
Youtube currently uses the HTML5 player.

Adding my screen shot regarding my question. For some reason I was not able to add it yesterday. I also added an additional file.
The file with two screen shots shows the connection message and the YouTube results. The second file shows how FF is displaying some sites...in this case support.mozilla.org...it's missing all of the graphics you would normally see.
Again, all these issue began yesterday when I reset FF due to crashes etc. This was suggested by the support site and then these other issues came up after the reset.
Additionally, I've uninstalled FF and removed the FF folder and reinstalled 3 times yesterday. I also blew out my profile and created a new one...none of that fixed the issue.
I really hope you folks can make a suggestion that resolves the issue. I've used this browser for years and switched to Chome because of issues just like this. I switched back late last year and I would have to say the performance is so so.
Also, running Windows 10 with the latest updates in case you ask.

That was very good work. Well done. Sometimes it's the protection program that causes the problem.
