Flash Player not playing video's embedded in websites, just white space where video should be [plug-in activated and updated]
Youtube.com works just fine,
but any other website that has embedded video's does not load or show them.
Where a video would be, now there is just a white square.
It worked fine in the previous versions of Firefox.
I have tried updating my Flash player plugin, making sure it is active and any other troubleshooting options I could.
Here is an example of a site where this problem is encountered
Thanks

This is not the case as the plugin is not crashing. It fails to even load the video.
A crash would be shown as a gray box with an ! I believe?
Like I said, just a white square without even seeing any video info.

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Fred this thread was started back on November 16 as to why the OP has a old version of Flash in more system details. It was bumped by TMT1 who has own thread at /questions/1211802
and thanks, my issue has been solved over at Microsoft support.
