Can only use Lightning OR Provider for Google Calendar, not both, after most recent Thunderbird update.

I use Lightning to sync my Google Calendar with Thunderbird, and Provider for Google Calendar to sync my Tasks calendar within Google Calendar. This has worked fine until the most recent Thunderbird update (68.1.1).

Switching Lightning off will disable my Calendar.

Switching Provider off prevents me from creating a new task, but I am able to create a new calendar appointment.

With both on, I am able to create tasks, but I am not able to connect to my calendar at all. If I try to connect, I am asked to log in, I log in successfully, grant access to Provider, but then the calendar is not switched on.

My calendar properties are:

Switch this calendar on? [Blank, because of this issue]

Calendar Name: My Calendar

Color: Green

Username: myaddress@gmail.com

Location: https://apidata.googleusercontent.com/caldav...

Refresh Calendar: Every minute

Read-only?: [BLANK]

Show reminders?: [CHECK]

Offline support?: [CHECK]

Email: myaddress@gmail.com

Prefer client-side email scheduling?: [BLANK]

Well that was the hard way. Try adding your calendar again.

When you select on the network, next choose Google calendar. That way both halves of your Google calendar will both be coming from the same place. Use a colour other than Green. Change it later, but initially you need to differentiate which is which.

Once you successfully have the new calendar added and synchronized you can remove the old and the now duplicated events will be removed

Given tasks are a part of Lightning I am very confused here. I am also confused by the fact you using something other than the provider for calendar as it's purpose is to support Google calendar and tasks for lightning.

You can use Google calendar as a caldav calendar, but if you have the provider installed there is exactly no point even looking at that route.

So, how have you got your calendar configured in Lightning?
