Hi tlel, is there an example page URL you can share where you see this problem?

Just to clarify: do extremely basic pages lay out correctly in Print Preview, using the full page? For example: https://www.userchrome.org/how-create-userchrome-css.html

If Print Preview shows excessive margins or the wrong paper shape, we can discuss some additional settings to check beyond the ones in the article.

On the other hand, if Print Preview is fine for basic pages and messed up for more complex layouts, it could be one of Firefox's print bugs.

There are some page layouts that Firefox can display on screen without problems, but when it comes to splitting them up for printing, things go off the rails. There's work in progress to fix many of those, but I don't know how soon it will be completed (probably not for Firefox 76).

In the meantime, I created an add-on that lets you inject changes into the current page to make it print better. It only covers certain common issues and can't fix everything. If you want to take a look at it:

Thank you for getting back to me. All the page settings are correct and I tried all the recommended fixes and nothing worked. I will have to change browsers and that is a shame because I like Firefox. Thanks anyway.

If you like Firefox and want printing to work better, maybe you could give me an example of a page that doesn't lay out for printing correctly for you.
