The issue I am having is that I wiped my old iPhone before disabling two factor authentication. I am not able to login because Firefox wants a code from my old device.

Please advise.

"If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) setup on your account and need to migrate to a new device or phone, here are steps you can take to ensure that you don’t get locked out of your account. Step one: Disable two-step authentication"

"Go to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings (you may need to log in).
Enter the authentication code from your authentication application.
After login, under Security next to the Two-step authentication click Disable.
   Click Disable on the confirmation".

2FA when accounts or email is lost or deleted there is nothing more that can be done to help here. It shouldn't need to old device since that account should've transferred all the data to your new phone. 2FA is from Firefox accounts not your phone. I think this is more or less a Lost account and there's not much more that can be done here.

Firefox normally allows you to save a set of recovery codes that you can use if you lose access to the authenticator app. If you do not have those codes then I'm afraid that you will have to create a new account with a different email address.
