I have unchecked clear active logins and everything to do with removing passwords and I still have to login to websites. How do I get this to keep me logged in on a few sites?
With Yahoo and Facebook, they have a box you can check to keep you logged in, but every time I close out my browser it is erased and I have to login all over again. I unchecked everything that has to do with erasing saved passwords, and active login information but it is still doing it. How do I get the browser to keep me logged in on the different websites that I would like it to remember?

"Remember Me" for automatic login to websites is stored in a cookie for each website. If you clear your cookies, you clear that data and you'll have to login each time you return to the website.
I hit the remember me button, but still, every time i close firefox, and open it again, i have to log in to every site i use .... Extremely dissapointing... Thinking of changing web browser....
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
Do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
