Bookmarks missing, forward/back button don't work, f5 doesn't work, upon opening FF no homepage only a blank page. If I go to one site and I tab to another the 1st url remains. What is going on? I have screenshots if anyone wants to see them.

Will also add that. The only way I get it to work like it used to, is running it in safe mode. Can anyone please tell me what is possibly going on?
If it works correctly in Firefox Safe Mode, the problem is being caused by an extention. See:

I have done all the copy pasted over and over 'fix' and still when I open a new window from a fully functional tab, I get no bookmarks in the new window, and no links on the bookmark tool bar works either. This has been an ongoing issue since v3, even with disabling addons, even FF approved addons.
Yes, Java is up to date No, ActiveX doesn't apply for Firefox, but is installed for IE My Shockwave Flash is newer than one you you have listed: Plugin Description: Shockwave Flash 10.3 r181 Same applies to Java: Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_26 for Mozilla browsers
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
