I recently reinstalled Firefox 3.5.2 (it was the newest saved version on my hard drive). After using "Check for Updates" in Help, I was upgraded to 3.5.19. I assumed I would be upgraded to 3.6, but the only option now available is to upgrade to 4.0.1. Neither the "no thanks" nor "ask later" option in the update window gives the option to upgrade to 3.6. Since you recently released a statement saying all 3.5 users would be upgraded to 3.6, this doesn't make a lot of sense.

Yes, I know I can download 3.6 and install it manually, but I shouldn't have to. The update process should function in a way that's consistent with your stated goals of migration away from 3.5, but not forcing the upgrade to 4.0.1, especially since my ZoneAlarm firewall/AV/virtualization package is not yet compatible with 4.

My understanding is on June 21st or shortly after when Firefox 3.6.18 is released, Mozilla are planning to offer the update to Firefox 3.6.18 as a minor update for Firefox 3.5.19 users.
