Question says it all. Firefox 10.0.2 When my home page (www.google.com) is the last page viewed and Firefox is closed I keep getting the "This is embarassing" screen when I reopen Firefox. Use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.

Make sure that Firefox closes properly to avoid restoring a possibly crashed session on the next start.

Thank you for responding to my problem. I have not had the problem of Firefox trying to load an invalid of previous web page until recently. I do close the program correctly and almost always select the HOME icon to return to my GOOGLE www.google.com home page. I am sorry but Firefox has not had errors and this is a continuing iritation caused by someone tweeking something in the code.
