In previous versions of Firefox, I would have the following shortcuts for Stumbleupon: Stumble = Meta + x "Like" = Meta + c "Dislike" = Meta + z Toggle Toolbar = Meta + s

These shortcuts worked fine throughout version 12. However, I just upgraded to Firefox 13, and these shortcuts are not recognized. Instead, Firefox completely ignores the meta key and simply passes through the x/c/z/s key instead. I have tested this by highlighting a text field and pressing these shortcuts, which resulted in the x/c/z/s key appearing in the text field as opposed to the appropriate action being carried out.

I am running a fully up-to-date installation of Arch Linux x86_64. Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm using KDE 4.8.3.

It is possible that there is some sort of incompatibility in the StumbleUpon add-on. Give them some time to fix it and it may start working.

I have this problem and I do not use the StumbleUpon addon.

I use the Keyconfig addon to setup keyboard shortcuts, almost all of which involve the Super/Meta key. Examples: <Super>h = home page, <Super>t = new tab, <Super>g = find again.

These shortcuts no longer work in Firefox 13. Instead, Firefox ignores the Super key altogether. So for example it interprets '<Super>t' as 't', and does a quick search on 't'.

I'm using 64-bit Ubuntu 10.04 with the default Gnome desktop.

Edit: I checked the system details for the original poster, and noticed that he is also using the keyconfig addon.
