Firefox was playing You Tube videos and and the flash player was working fine but at about 6pm PST today it quit working and would not play you tube videos nor would it work in my Mafia wars game. I went to your help site and carefully followed the instructions to disable real player and made sure I removed any old flash player and install a the new one (which I had anyway). It still did not work so I went to Google Chrome Incognito and both my Mafia Wars game and You Tube worked fine so it is an issue with Firefox not with my computer .

You can check for problems caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and possibly downgrade to Flash 11.2 or 10.3.

Try to clear the Flash local storage and settings.

  • Windows Control Panel > Flash Player > Storage: Local Storage Settings **Remove a specific domain: Local Storage Settings by site **Remove all domains: Delete All and Delete Data
