overriding autocomplete
Since the latest update, if I try to use Ctrl-Enter to add "www." and ".com" to whatever I've typed in, this won't work if there are autocomplete entries, the first of those being selected instead.
For instance, typing play followed by Ctrl-Enter is currently loading https://play.google.com, rather than https://www.play.com. If I use a combination of characters that don't feature in the autocomplete list, it works as it should.
I use the Ctrl-Enter combination a lot, so I can't believe that this was present in 16.0.

Try to set the Boolean pref browser.urlbar.autoFill to false on the about:config page.
See "Prevent Firefox from automatically completing URLs":
- bug 448486 - urlbar autofill (inline autocomplete) and ctrl-enter don't work nicely together
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Worked a charm.
