I have set up Firefox Sync. On my PC and android device. I can see the tabs that I am browsing on my PC on my Android device, but not vice versa. I am using Firefox beta R28 on my phone. I have trice resetting the account. Setting up an account from the PC first and from the phone first. Creating a new account associated to a different email address all with out any luck.

Any ideas?

Hi wookie_73,

In the new version of sync has a bug for this Bug 958889 - Make Fennec "Synced Tabs" tray display entry point to Firefox Account + Sync when user has no existing accounts and it looks like it is planning for version 30.

Thank you for your interest in the new Firefox sync accounts, if you would like to copy the old profile to the new account the instructions are below: Desktop Firefox

  1. Create a copy of your Firefox Profile.
  2. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox...
  3. If you are an existing sync user do the following, if not skip this:
  4. Go into Firefox Preferences > Sync (tab)

Unlink This Device

  1. Go into Firefox Preferences > Sync (tab) > Click 'Create Account' link
  2. Fill out the form you'd like to use for this account, click next
  3. Log into your email and click on the verification email sent to you.
  4. Upon validation, you should see a menu drop down that informs you that you're now syncing.
  5. You can validate syncing with another Firefox profile. You can do that easily by installing this add-on:
  6. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../profileswitcher/

That's it!

Looks like I will have to wait till ver 30. Shame but at least I know what the problem is now.
