Hello,
A other users have had this for what seems to be a variety of reasons:

First, check to see if you have any security software that is blocking Firefox or any of its services. Start Windows in Safe Mode (press F8 on the boot screen) and see if Firefox opens there. If it does, you will need to change some of your settings.
If your security settings don't seem to be blocking Firefox, you can try uninstalling Firefox from the Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then, delete the folder:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Note: Your profile is stored in a different location, so your configurations and settings should be safe. Just be sure that when uninstalling, you do not select the option to delete that data.
Download a fresh copy of Firefox from the Mozilla site - you will need to find your preferred language and operating system:
Install Firefox again and see if you still have any problems.
Tried the information forwarded to me and that program isn't in my control panel of programs. I'm frustrated!
This error is usually caused by a problem caused by not updating all files in the Firefox program folder properly leaving you with an incompatible mixture of files.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
I did this and still got the message: Couldn't load XP.com I don't understand. It worked a few hours before and then completely stopped. I have uninstalled and reinstalled probably 20 times.
This is not about uninstalling Firefox, but about removing the Firefox program folder after uninstalling to make sure that no files are left.
If you keep having problems then try to boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that helps.
Thanks, but that doesn't work. I already tried to boot in the safe mode. Thanks, anyway
