Can't open links in thunderbird
I recently moved to a new system and I am having issues opening hyperlinks in Thunderbird.
On the new system I installed the latest version of Thunderbird. Created a new profile, and then closed out of the program. I then copied all data from my old profile into the new profile.
I've tried editing the config files and changing the default web browser manually, but I am still having the same problem.
Can you help?

If you have gone through the different things here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Hyperlinks-in-Messages-Not-Working there is not much to add.
Other than try safe mode with Networking. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX
- If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.
