HI, Mozilla, I'm running email in Thunderbird 38.3.0. I'm on a MacBook Pro w/OS X 10.9.5. I'd like to update to the newest Mac OS — El Capitan — but want to confirm they are compatible and if I'll simply be able to open Thunderbird without having to make any changes. Would also consider Yosemite if you suggest. I'm also concerned b/c my email is funneled through my work's gmail account on its way to Thunderbird. Thank you.

I do not use a MAC, but I helped someone with a query the other day and they were successfully running Thunderbird on El Capitan.

I've used Thunderbird for 10 years. Now is not functioning with GoDaddy. This is ruining my work! I'm working on a Mac Mini late 2014 with El Capitan 10.11.3 using Thunderbird with GoDaddy First I want to say that I love Thunderbird and GoDaddy and have used it for a decade to organize my work. I have resisted giving it up for four months, but now I am at my wits end. I opened a gmail account and have nothing but hatred for its clumsy user interface. So I started using Thunderbird with it, and the same problems are happening: not reading up to date files in inbox is the major one.
