I can not send mail in ThunderBird sometimes.

It says: "The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server server name failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else contact your network administrator. "

It occurs sometimes, not everytime. But really bad situation for me. I have Go daddy as email provider and ATT as internet provider Could you help me please abou this problem?
