I cannot find HOW to change "about permissions" for youtube. I am not a computer wizard and cannot find the location bar of Mozella.

I seem to have large screen option for youtube. I did not knowingly do this. I know that I need to go to"about permissions". I know that I need to then click on "all sites". I know that I then click on "full screen settings". What I need help finding is the location bar for Firefox. All I get are ads when I click on the location bar.

The Location bar or Address bar is where you type in a website like say www.example.com or should be the url of this thread when viewing thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1131238

There is no longer a full screen permission with the change to the full screen API.

What kind on problems do you have with Full Screen mode?

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required) when you see this problem?

Hmm, a "large screen," hmm... I'm not sure what you mean.

You might try resetting the zoom level on the site. For that you can use your choice of these methods:

  • hold down the Ctrl key and tap 0 (that's a zero)
  • "3-bar" menu button > look for a line similar to
    - | 120% | +
and click the number in the center if it isn't 100%
  • (menu bar) View menu > Zoom > Reset

If that doesn't help, you could try the general stuff:

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

(1) Clear Firefox's Cache

See: How to clear the Firefox cache

If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes. If you do not see the number going down on the page, you can reload it using Ctrl+r to check progress.

(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:

  • right-click (on Mac Ctrl+click) a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
  • click the padlock or "i" icon in the address bar, then the ">" button, then More Information, and finally the "View Cookies" button

In the dialog that opens, the current site should be pre-filled in the search box at the top of the dialog so you can remove that site's cookies individually.

Then try reloading the page. Does that help restore normal behavior on YouTube?
