IRS direct pay not working this Q4 quarter; did fine Q3 - no change in my settings - what's going on - MS Edge works fine
What changes did you make between October 15 and today (December 12). The IRS Direct Pay website worked fine using your browser in October. Has not worked over the last 3 day. YOU forced me to use MS Edge today and the Direct Pay website works just fine. Please fix your browser!
P.S.: I have no clue what I'm doing in chat rooms, etc.. Not a nerd (damn it). How about a more straight forward path for some of us idiots to ask questions and or get help. I'll be glad to provide a standard annual contribution if you will just make it easier for me to seek help!

If you don't understand something, just ask.
On the Direct Pay page, one just pushes a button to start an interactive process of providing info and the payment amount you want to tender.
The button was inoperative using FireFox but MS Edge worked fine.
