TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.

Is this about using a web based email service like Gmail or Yahoo or Hotmail or about using a program like Thunderbird because Firefox isn't an email client?

If the question is about Thunderbird then we can move the question over to Thunderbird support. Otherwise you will have to check the FAQ page of that email provider.
