How do I change the keyboard shortcuts?

I am used to using Chrome so need the same shortcuts to work in Firefox. It's annoying to press Ctrl + Shift + n and not get a private browsing window, or to press Ctrl + Shift + j and get the useless version of developer tools that only shows a console rather than the real thing. Changing them to the same as Chrome is pretty handy for anyone wanting to move over. There are reportedly extensions but they either don't work with 58 or only work within tabs, not in the app in general. (Ubuntu 16.04)

I would have replied to an existing similar question (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1180599) but I was not allowed to sign up without asking a question, which seems odd but there we go. So now there's two questions about this, hopefully someone can help out!

Most new people coming here are asking for help on their issue(s).

Mozilla prefers people ask their support question as a new thread and not use a existing thread started by somebody. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-rules-and-guidelines#w_posting-support-requests

Did you also look here? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

I found that page but did not notice the link to the Saka key extension. Using that extension I can change the key combination to open private browsing, but not to open developer tools. I guess it is a start. Can the key to open developer tools also be changed?

Thanks, however my question relates to changing these keys to the same keys I am used to in Chrome, which I think is an issue a lot of people will have if they want to move over, and which Firefox would really benefit from supporting - I doubt it would be too complex to implement for someone who knew the system.
