Hello! We're so sorry to hear your husband's phone was stolen. The email alert for the sign-in you mentioned, is that thru the Firefox Accounts feature he is using? Unfortunately, that alert does not transmit a GPS coordinate for you to track the phone's exact location. It only lets you know the general city & country where someone logged in, which is not good for the kind of tracking you're looking for.

If he has his Google account signed into his Android phone, he can try to track it via Google's Find service: Find, lock, or erase a lost Android device: • https://android.com/findhttps://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6160491?hl=en If you lose an Android phone or tablet, or Wear OS watch, you can find, lock, or erase it. If you've added a Google Account to your device, Find My Device is automatically turned on. Learn how to make sure that your device can be found if it gets lost.

To find, lock, or erase an Android phone, that phone must:

  • Be turned on
  • Be signed in to a Google Account
  • Be connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi
  • Be visible on Google Play
  • Have Location turned on
  • Have Find My Device turned on

Google can locate the phone if a lot of the requirements are met above. Good luck & I hope you can recover your phone!
