search results
Up until recently when doing a search for products there was a wide selection of sites. Now it seems 70% of the results are from Amazon. Is there anyway to block Amazon?

Do you mean in Google results?
Google allows exclusion by adding -site:amazon.com to your query. This only affects "organic" results from the web, and not the paid placements in the Shopping results.
Of course, that is a bit of a hassle to type. On Firefox for Windows/Mac/Linux, there are add-ons you can use to hide results from certain sites, but I don't think there is such an add-on for mobile.
One option would be to create a custom search engine in Firefox for Android. Here's how:
(A) Select and copy the following:
https://www.google.com/search?q=-site:amazon.com+%s
(The site may turn that into a link, but hopefully you can still copy it.)
(B) Open
menu > Settings > Search
(C) Tap + Add Search Engine then tap Other
Firefox should show you a form with two blanks:
(D) Tap in the second blank showing the placeholder text "Search string to use" and Paste (your keyboard may show the URL or long press > Paste if needed)
(E) Tap in the first blank showing the placeholder text "Name" and type any name you like, such as NoAmazon
(F) Tap the check mark in the upper right of the screen to save your new search engine
Any luck?
