I don't know what caused this but my searches at eBay are screwed up. This started happening after a recent Firefox update but it could have been initiated by an errant keystroke. I don't know. I often do "wildcard" searches of eBay. Now when I type "(" for a wildcard search, some other word (or words) that I had previously searched for appears in the search bar and a menu pops up with "Recent Searches", "Saved Searches" and "Saved Sellers". Ironically, in that Saved Seller menu a seller is displayed that I purchased an item from, probably a year ago, but that seller is NOT in my saved sellers!!! I've tried all I can figure to do in the browser settings to correct this, to no avail. Now for the keystroke part... I was in the process of starting a wildcard search when this started happening. I accidentally hit the key (I'm not sure what it's purpose is) below the right Shift key (looks like a menu with an arrow) simultaneously, as well as the "9" key (for left parenthesis) . I remember a "menu" popped up below the search, but I clicked off of it in the search bar. That's when the stuff hit the fan. BUT... it was also the first search I was performing after a Firefox update. HELP!
