In Firefox 122.0 for Windows 11, I'd like to have "Ask to save passwords" turned OFF but "Fill usernames and passwords automatically" turned ON so that the latter feature works as intended, while Firefox does not prompt me to save passwords. Is this possible with a config setting or otherwise?

That is not possible, auto-fill only works when the Password Manager in enabled ("Ask to save passwords" has a tick). If you disable the Password Manager (i.e. remove the tick), then you need to use "Use Saved Login/Password" in the context menu.

Thanks for the response. When you say "context menu" do you mean right-clicking in the password field? I don't see an option for "Use Saved Login/Password" when I do that.
