Lost my opening email page
I lost my email format and now, when I open Mozilla Thunderbird the only thing that comes up on my screen are all of my SENT emails. How can I get back to the email starting page with which I am familiar and can I keep the emails I've received over the past years? This is very confusing and I don't know how it happened. I've clicked on all of the icons I have available to me and none of them seem to offer any help. I clicked on "restore original columns" but it doesn't take me back to the original email start page. Any ideas?

I tried item #2 under See Also and did not find a "folder pane" anywhere and no where to turn it on. I pressed the alt key and nothing happened.
I have attached an image that shows what I see when I open my Mozilla Thunderbird email. All of these are sent messages. I can't find a place that allows me to read new messages though I know I am receiving some. I have removed the correspondent's names and email addresses. Other than that, this is what I see when I open my email to try to send a message or open my email. Hopefully, this will help you to determine where I am stuck and how to get me back to my regular email starting page. Thank you for any help you can give me.
