Since i installed Firefox (firefox did auto-update itself, never prompted or asked me for an update) the link above keeps opening everytime i start Firefox, no matter what sites i have open, no matter if i keep close it, when i restart firefox, a tab opens with that link.

Try following the steps in this article, Firefox has just updated tab shows each time you start Firefox. If that doesn't solve your problem, please reply and I can help you further.

Thanks it solved my problem. I had the prefs.js archive invalidated coz i did set up to be only readable (i don't remember why i've done this) but thanks again :)
