Disable HTML5 Notification Sound
Firefox 29.0.1 on OS X 10.9.3 on Macbook Air Mid 2011
I cannot find an option to disable sound associate with a HTML5 Notification regardless of the source (e.g. PushBullet, Google Music, GMail, etc.).
This also happens with generic HTML5 notification (see below).
Step to reproduce, 1. Go to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/notification 2. Click on "Notify me!", under "See the live result" 3. See "the notification bubble" and hear ***the sound*** I can't find any option to disable this ***the sound***

You usually need to adjust such a setting in the OS preferences for sound effects and either disable all sounds or see if you can identify the specific sound action that is being used in this case.
I played through 14 "alert sounds" in Maverick. None of them is the same as the notification from Firefox. So I don't think Firefox use OS X settings.
So you were saying that I should mute my sound just to disable Firefox notification sound?
The reason I posted this is that on Chrome (35.0.1916.114), when I go to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/notification and create a notification. There is NO sound.
I tried in Safari (Version 7.0.4 (9537.76.4)). There is no notification sound too.
I'm surprised that nobody notice this.
