Refresh button does not work
I can't refresh the page opened in the tab using refresh button. When i press it - nothing happens. Only when i set focus to the textbox and press Enter i can reload it.

Also F5 does nothing too. I can reload the page only by pressing Enter in the url-textbox or by opening tab's context menu and pressing refresh command.
I have this problem too :(
Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Thank you
Nope, it still doesn't work even in safemode.
Probably a Corrupt localstore.rdf file.

thank you
Deleted this file, my favorite panel has gone, but the problem still exists.
Do the keyboard shortcuts work?
- F5 and Ctrl+R to reload the page
- Ctrl+F5 and Ctrl+Shift+R to reload the page and bypass the cache
I don't understand what you mean with: Only when i set focus to the textbox and press Enter i can reload it Can you clarify that?
Can you attach a screenshot?

- Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- Make sure that you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB

As i already said, keyboard shortcuts don't work...
I don't understand what you mean with: Only when i set focus to the textbox and press Enter i can reload it Can you clarify that?
I click on the box where current web-address displayed and when it's highlighted i press Enter. This is one of two working methods of reloading the page. The second one, as i said, is right-clicking on the tab and selecting 'Reload' command in the context menu.
How should i make a screenshot if there is nothing to show?
Also 'back' button doesn't work too. It always has grey color and is untouchable.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Bookmarks+not+saved#w_fix-the-bookmarks-file
- Places Maintenance: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/places-maintenance/
Try to open a new window and check if that windows works better. If that works then possibly drag or tear off tabs (move to new window) to another window and close the not working window.
Nope, nor opening the new window, neither removing places.sqlite didn't help with that.
I just use Google Chrome now...
I remember Firefox v3.0, it was a nice browser... I don't understand why should you destroy everything that works perfect...
Close the thread.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
