i have been through the mozilla support and adobe flash support troubleshooting to DISABLE HARDWARE ACCELERATION in hope it will stop the adobe flash crashing.

having tried the other suggestions and found all ok, it is my last resort.

i cannot get to the settings menu on adobe site because it must need flash player to display....very frustrating.

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
