In the last few versions of Firefox when you pressed the back button it would go to the last cached version of the page you were backing into, but now with the new firefox when you press the back button it RELOADS the page completely.

I was wondering if there was a way to turn off this function as I need it to not refresh the page when I press the back button, Thanks.

Is the disk cache enabled and working if you check that on the about:cache page?
