How can I take two folders and merge them together?
Hi. I work at a University, over the years I have created file folders (with sub-folders) for each semester. What I would like to do is move the older folders into a new folder called "All Semesters". I've created that new folder but can't figure out how to now get a specific folder to move to that new folder. I would think a simple "drag/drop" action would work, or a "move to folder" but no luck.
Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!

Hi joh07404.
Would you like to have the "All Semesters" as a parent for the current folder structure, or just to move all e-mails from the current folders to "All Semesters" and delete the old folders?
Just one extra question, do you use IMAP or POP3 connection to your mailbox? In case of IMAM, I personally prefer to do such things via webmail directly on the mailserver.
Hi Michal, it is IMAP. I want the "All Semesters" as a parent for the current folder structure. Thank you :)

At least for my IMAP (Google) drag&drop the folder in the left panel works. Or you can try to check, if such action is available trough the web interface of your mailbox.
Thanks Michal! Just figured out a way to do it, don't know if it will work yet.
I logged into my account through GMail and then went to Manage Labels. I can then pick a label (aka: folder), and "nest" it under a different label. It will take some time and I don't know if my work will be reflected when I am logged in through Mozilla, but we'll see.
Wish me luck!
