I set up an account for a colleague to transfer her bookmarks from one computer to another. There were quit a few bookmarks saved in "Unsorted Bookmarks" on the original computer whereby there was a scroll over/dropdown action. When logging into the FF account on the new computer and waiting for sync to sync, it doesn't seem to have synced them correctly.

There are no bookmarks under "Unsorted Bookmarks" whereby you have to scroll over/dropdown. Clicking on "Unsorted Bookmarks" brings up a File Explorer type box with the bookmarks in there but surely they should be on (or in) FF Unsorted Bookmarks and not in a File Explorer type of box?

I don't use sync. Check this out;

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.

Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup. Select Export Bookmarks To HTML, and follow the prompts and save it to a HTML file. Copy the file to another computer. Repeat the instructions above, BUT select Import Bookmarks From HTML,

You can also copy the user profile from one computer to another using a thumb drive.

What is the point of Sync if it doesn't?

How do I get the bookmarks to Sync?

It bit awhile since I had a 2nd device and Sync working, so my memory may be fuzzy ,,,

Are you sure that there aren't two Unsorted Bookmarks folder? Like the one that was created when Firefox was installed on the 2nd device, and one from the Sync process, from the original device.

Yeah I'm sure. I scrolled through all the bookmark sections in the Bookmarks dropdown menu on the menu bar. Nothing doing.

Look in the Bookmarks Sidebar - { Ctrl + B } .
