I am using version 45.1.1 (but with previous version there is the same problem) and I have several email accounts mostly hotmail but also gmail and local phone company. The problem is that sometimes the system does not download emails because it cannot log in but doesn't tell me so I have no idea if login is successful. The message at the bottom left is well.... "lousy" and I would like to ask the developer to make a better one where successful login on EACH email account is outlined for a few seconds (like a small popup screen where the list of logins is listed) so that we can be sure that each account has been serviced. Another problem (a small one) is that the progress bar at the bottom is out of alignment showing two bars, the correct one in the frame and another one to its left sometimes overlapping the correct one. Having trouble with uploading a 7k image ! Thanks

'Menu icon' > 'Activity Manager'

this has a log of your connections to server and whether anything was downloaded. If logon was successful, but no messages downloaded then it will also say this in the Activity Manager.

If logon was not successful you usually get a pop up which tells you if something failed to logon. It will likely ask for password or give another reason.
