Cascading Bookmark menus?
I do my best to organize my bookmarks into sub-folders, but I still have a few where the list is so long, you must scroll to see them all.
Is there a setting (or plug-in) to display a long list of bookmarks all at once instead of forcing me to scroll?
Thx.

The only way I know to create columns with a basic style rule is to fix the number of columns. Firefox will then balance the bookmarks between the columns evenly. I don't know of a way to only show the second column when the list is too long. I think an add-on might be needed for that.
Anyway, this is my existing custom style: https://userstyles.org/styles/119797/bookmarks-menu-in-multiple-columns
You can apply custom style rules to Firefox's interface using either:
- Stylish extension for Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../stylish/)
- a userChrome.css file, which is an optional settings file you can create (http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css)
If you don't find a more convenient solution, I can go into more detail.

If the list is longer than the screen, then you will need to scroll.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.
If the list is vertical and it's longer than the screen, you need to scroll. I create a custom user style to display the bookmarks menu in three columns, and each folder in two columns. I'm attaching a screenshot of what the revised layout looks like.
Right now it only works with the Bookmarks Menu that drops from the "classic" menu bar. However, I probably could make it work with the menu that drops from the toolbar button if you prefer that one.

Looks interesting.
I have a bookmark "folder" containing all the links I've bookmarked on that particular site and it is now so long it's as tall as the screen.
I'm hoping for a way to have the list of bookmarks expand to two or more columns rather than scroll so I can see them all at once.
Thx.

That's pretty nice. I installed your style and it does indeed help.
Big thanks.
