What should cache space be set at in 53.0.3?

more options

Cache space was set at 15 MB when I downloaded 53.0.3. I have been experiencing random shutdowns, and I think it's because of this cache space. I upped the cache space to 25 MB, which made me wonder how high I should make it.

When Firefox works, it works GREAT, but random shutdowns is more than annoying.

I suggest that you leave the 'Override automatic cache management' box unchecked. This way Firefox will automatically buffer the cache size it needs.

To give you an idea, I currently have about 110 different tabs open in some of which I have a few videos opened and paused, listening to internet music and writing this post and Firefox is using 350 MB cache in automatic mode.

THANK YOU for your reply! I'll try this. I'll report back if my random shutdowns stop.

So what SHOULD cache space be set at? Or does it matter?

6 13 17: One random shutdown since my cache space was changed and I did that override. So this question is not yet solved.
