My wife had to change her password because at&t is abandoning yahoo mail support next Wednesday (June 28). We changed her password, and verified that it works by logging directly into mail.yahoo.com. I put the password into Tools|Options|Security|Passwords>Saved Passwords, but when I click Get Messages, Thunderbird reports that password submission failed. I have entered it several times, including pasting the same string that works successfully on the direct login. I have restarted Thunderbird, and restarted the PC. Nothing has worked.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,

Joel Williamson
