after the last upgrade of Thunderbird it 'lost' my server password and did not show up any where. I have a record of P/W and it has vanished from everything except my Gmail account. I use Mailwasher Pro and Benign. server pass word is there but will not work Mozilla error msg only . I tried re placing in the password login screen and it will not even save the correct P/W.

Can you give some more information about your setup, like which operating system you use, which add-ons you have installed and for what e-mail account his happens? Also do you use a master password, or have you stored the password for the account?

If it is for an Apple/iCloud account: Apple has changed their way to login about two weeks ago, only allowing two-factor authentication and app specific passwords. If so, you should remove any stored password in Thunderbird, generate a new app specific password on iCloud and use that to authenticate in Thunderbird.
