I know media.autoplay.enabled, but if i change it to false, autoplay is disabled for all sites. That's what i don't want. There are few sites where i accept autoplay of html5 videos. We can enable notification for flash contents and give perpetual or temporary "blessing" to websites to display flash. Is there any addon which can show such notification for html5 videos?

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

This can also be set to allow content you want.

How about this add-on that will allow autoplay for websites (Exceptions => Allow) :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flashstopper/

If you'll read 'About this add-on' (FlashStopper), here's what you'll see :

Make video players (flash & html5) show video thumbnail instead of autoplaying…

And you can set exceptions for sites .......

flashstopper ins't good for me. Many times it doesn't show video window at all.

For Flash content best is to set the Shockwave Flash plugin to "Ask to Activate" and only allow the plugin when you really need to. Blocking autoplay for HTML5 content via the autoplay pref(s) doesn't always work properly and should be used with care.
