I created a new account to ask a question.

I tried to log in later & it said the pwd was invalid. I asked for a pwd reset link. I used the link to reset the pwd. Mozilla Support said the pwd was successfully reset. I tried to log in with the new pwd & Mozilla Support didn't recognize it.

I asked again for a reset link. Same process, same result.

I tried to post a question about the login issue. On the screen for creating an acct, it said my existing user name was available (it should not have been). I tried to create an acct w the same user name (that it said was available), but then it said the email was already taken. I clicked where it said 'I already have an acct'. I tried to login to the existing acct. It didn't give any error message - just put me back at the new acct creation screen.

I had to create a whole new acct, using a different email, in order to ask this question now. I imagine, if I come back later & try to log in to this new acct, I again won't be able to.

Maybe you made a typo in the user name when you created the account or possibly had CAPS lock active (the user name is case sensitive). You can try to contact a site administrator via to look into this.

You can create a thread in the contributors forum and add [ATTN: Admin] in front.
